I was preparing a new event for a company i worked long time ago (around 6 years ago) and i couldn't find a good way to promote this event.

We neede'd the media and some local stars to be there and some way to show to the rest of the city (and get some "mark" on theme) who was invited and who wasn't. It was THE moment, and THE place to be so we needed that everyone could see who was in/who came.

At that time, i really didnt knew anything about wristbands. To be more specific, i didnt knew anything about silicone made wristbands. Now i know (and eveyrone knows) that these are "cool to wear", that can me customized, and all that. But at the time, i didnt have children so that might be the reason why i didnt knew some things related to the "hot trends".

The event was gone. We decided to make a perfum with some letter and a message as an invitation. That seemed elegant and what people would expect: a written message (hey men! i invite you to this event!) and a gift to accompany the invitation.

A few weeks after i saw an ad from the Live Strong Foundation. I thought "wow, what a cool thing to wear"... But i didn't understood the real opportunities that such a simple product could give in my business needs.

-i should clarify that I devote myself to the realization of corporate events. For the presentation of new prouctos or services for various purposes, but always looking to make the brand a step up and allow their customers to feel it more participatory.-

With that clarification, i can say that i have found the solution to my problems. I was searching on Google and i got into Charm Bracelets for Girls.com.

At first i thought that i would only try this on a simple and tiny event. I could risk one's client opinion on my company services just because i wanted to try a new way to promote theme (trough Rubber Bracelets). - People love theme. Girls, boys, they all like the feel of wearing one. We could compare Rubber Bracelets to Apple Products. They're cool. If you wear theme, you can be cool too. It doesn't matter if its just for one night, they're cool, you need theme. - Again. They're cheap. cheap. cheap. So for the same event or brand you can create multiple ones. You can use theme as event invitations as i first did or you can just order theme to promote your business. - If you use custom made rubber bracelets (or simple rubber bracelets) to promote your business you should also notice that people will probably still use your silicone wristbands after the event. And, depending on your brand, they might get to be a trend on some specific location or age group. This is again the case for example of the Live Strong silicone wristbands, that after a time got to be very related to the specific Nike brand, and many other people bought other Nike custom silicone wristbands (like the Anti Racism Rubber Wristbands from Nike) or other cheaper ones form other brands.

Well, thats my story. I hope anyone finds it usefull and share any other ideas as i did about this simple object, that gets to be so effective on brand sharing/awarness
